Ballroom dancing comes in a variety of styles involving the partnership of two dancers. The two most widely recognized are american and international styles. Our club focuses on the international syllabus, both standard and latin. Standard dances are recognizable by their formal poise and fluidity on the floor. Standard dances are traveling dances and require a large floor. Latin dances travel less and involve much tighter movements and weight shifts, visibly perceived as hip movements.
