Refund Policy

Class Cancellation
UWBDC is conducted by both local and out-of-area instructors and we need to provide instructors and participants appropriate notice if a program will be cancelled. The decision to hold or cancel a course is based on registration to ensure we have the appropriate numbers to covers our costs. All contact will be via email; to ensure you receive all emails it is YOUR responsibility to ensure UWBDC has your current email and update us if necessary.
  • If UWBDC is cancelling a program, you will be contacted by email and have two weeks from the date the email was sent to come to us for a refund.
  • Refunds are forfeited if not picked up within the two week time frame.
  • Any programs cancelled by UWBDC will be issued a full refund.
  • All refunds and transfers must take place within the current term.


No refund after registration
To complete registration, you need to fill our registration form and campus rec waiver with a valid watcard and fee. Once you finished registration, your spot is guaranteed, no refunds are issued. Please make sure you are available for lessons before sign up.

Make-up Lessons
On rare occasions lessons have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or instructor illness. We will make every attempt to reschedule all missed lessons, however no refunds will be given if attempts to re-schedule are unsuccessful. Make-up lessons due to participant illness or personal circumstances will not be available. If your personal circumstances do not permit you to attend your lesson on a particular week or time, or the make-up time, you can not attend another time or lesson.

Medical Exceptions
A Pro-rated refund will be issued only for medical reasons with a doctor's certificate. Pro-rated refunds will be issued from the date on the doctor's note. All refunds must be claimed within the same term as the registered class or will be forfeited.

Membership Fee
The $5 club membership fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
